Tony Jacklin gets REAL!
Writing in the current Golf Monthly, Tony Jacklin passionately supports our objectives for the game - Recreational, Enjoyable, Affordable and Less time-consuming. He rages that nowadays too many holes are out of reach for club golfers and says that "if you can't get up on a par 4 in two, it's no longer a par 4, is it?".
He concludes: "The reality is that golf shouldn't be an all-day exercise. You should be able to play 18 holes in a morning and then be free to do other thing in the afternoon or vice versa.
"And you used to be able to. That' the point and if we could get back to that it would be wonderful. So I'm supporting the Campaign for REAL Golf because it's the best and most intelligent thing `I've heard so far".
